An average American uses more than 150 gallons of water each day. Compare that toan African household where water usage is 12-13 gallons/person/day. Now dial it down to 4 liters which is the minimum necessary to survive per day? How would you use that water?

This is the new #4Liters challenge which is gaining a lot of traction in California and across the country. Similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge, you either live on 4 liters a day or donate $40 while nominating four friends.

So, are you game?

DIGDEEP is a nonprofit dedicated to water poverty and defending water as a human right. They facilitate water projects as well as education/advocacy programs and currently operate in New Mexico, Sudan, Cameroon, and Kashmir (India).
