Water IGEP Victories at WaterJAM 2014

Colin Richards and Nandita Ahuja accept a first-place award at the WaterJam conference in Hampton, VA

We are very proud to announce recent accomplishments of Colin Richards, Katherine Phetxumphou, and Siddhartha Roy at the recently concluded VA AWWA WaterJAM 2014 in Hampton, VA. Colin, along with his team (Gary Hinds, Nandita Ahuja, and James Linton) won the 1st Prize in Annual Student Design Competition at the conference.

Katherine Phetxumphou won the Young Professionals Best Poster Award for her collaborative work on the readability/clarity of EPA mandated water quality reports in the United States with Siddhartha Roy and IGEP faculty Dr. Brenda Davy, Dr. Andrea Dietrich, Dr. Paul Estabrooks and Dr. Wen You – from Ag. Economics). She’ll travel to AWWA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE) 2015 in Anaheim, CA. Katherine also received the VA AWWA Graduate Scholarship 2014 (2nd place).
