John Bartos
John Bartos is a PhD student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at Virginia Tech and a fellow with the Water INTERface IGEP. He comes to Virginia Tech after completing a master’s degree in geology at Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree of geological/geophysical engineering at Montana Tech of the University of Montana. John’s research uses statistical techniques to analyze low level aqueous geochemistry in groundwater. Originally from Radford, Virginia, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing Minecraft, and sleeping in his free time. After graduating, John hopes to become a professional in the environmental field.
